At L’Ecole de Ballet Classique we know that your data is important to you and we ensure that we only retain the essential data to allow us to carry out our classes and related activities. Any data you provide us will be stored securely.

When registering to take classes with L’Ecole de Ballet Classique, we will collect a certain amount of personal data about our students for communication purposes. All parents/guardians will be required to complete an enrolment form for their student which will encompass the name of the student, their date of birth, the parent/guardian’s preferred contact number and e-mail address, a telephone number of an emergency contact and any relevant medical information to the student’s training. All data collected from the enrolment for will be stored securely and will only be accessible to staff of L’Ecole de Ballet Classique.
If you contact us regarding classes but choose not to take classes with us then we will not retain your contact details.

This data is collected primarily for communication purposes so that we ensure parent/guardians stay up-to-date with any developments from the school such as timetable changes and so that invoices for payment can be sent to you.

Your personal data will be processed for the legitimate interests of the school with your consent.

All personal data will be retained confidentially and will be accessible only to staff of L’Ecole de Ballet Classique.
Where contact information is required by a third party – such as for competition entry – we will always ask your permission for this data to be shared with the organisers and provide you with a copy of their privacy policy.

All your data will be stored and processed in the UK and will be subject to UK data protection laws.

Your personal data will be stored securely on the school’s computer and not shared to any external devices. Any documents containing personal data will be password protected.
Contact telephone numbers for parents/guardians will also be stored on the Directors’ personal mobile telephones for communication purposes. These devices will also be appropriately secured.

Your data will be retained for the time that your child is a student with the school and will only be retained beyond that until any outstanding fees have been settled.

Subject Access Requests will be responded to within 10 working days. You have the right to withdraw your consent to our access to your personal data at any point. You also have the right to request a copy of any personal data we store and to correct or delete this at any time.
